Festive Left Friday Blogging: Nope...still not a suit!

But Evo is certainly looking sharp here:

Evo--soon to be Chavecito's rival for best-dressed leftist?

Rrrrrrowrrrr.

I don't know much about him or what he's up to so I am going to research(piqued by your post on unn yesterday...soccer game) him, I do however dig the collar...obvious nod to native garb.

Oh, I think you'll like him, Duchamp...he's not as outspoken as Hugo Chavez, but he's just as progressive. Democracy Now recently interviewed him; he was very serious and sweet. He's basically done for Bolivia what Chavez is doing for Venezuela: providing more public services and at better quality; assuming national control over natural resources (for the public benefit from the revenues, of course!), and electing/convening a constituent assembly to rewrite the constitution for greater democracy and fairness. He seems to be incorruptible, too, since he's quite modest and even cut his own salary by more than half. So far he's kept six of the ten promises he made to voters, and he's only been in power since January.

In other words: He's good stuff.
